How pre-ordering works

    Reserve it

    Pick your model and place the pre-order. You won't be asked for payment — we just take your details so we know where it's going.

  2. 02

    We source it

    Your casting is ordered from our distributor and set aside against your name as soon as the shipment lands with us.

  3. 03

    Pay, then it ships

    We message you when it arrives, take payment then, and ship it out. Changed your mind before that? Cancel — nothing was charged.

One thing worth knowing: a pre-order is placed as its own separate order, so pre-order items can't share a cart with in-stock items. If you want both, just check out twice — your in-stock order still ships within 3 days as usual.

Pre-order questions

Do I pay anything now?
No. Placing a pre-order collects no payment at all — no deposit, no card details, nothing held. We contact you for payment only once your model has arrived with us and is ready to ship.
When will my pre-order arrive?
Typically 15 to 90 days from the date you place it. The range is wide because it depends on the specific release and when the distributor's shipment reaches us — some castings land quickly, others take a couple of months. We'll message you as soon as yours arrives, and again when it ships.
Why can't I add a pre-order to my normal cart?
Pre-orders ship on a different timeline to in-stock items, so we keep them as separate orders — that way your in-stock items aren't held back waiting for a model that's still weeks away. Place the two orders separately and each ships as soon as it's ready.
Is the price locked in?
Yes. The price shown when you pre-order is the price you pay, even if the model's retail price rises before it reaches us.
What if the model never arrives?
Occasionally a distributor cancels or short-ships a release. If that happens we'll tell you straight away and cancel the pre-order. As nothing was charged, you're never out of pocket.
